Her acting career already includes a supporting role in Babel and main roles in Phoebe in Wonderland and Somewhere. Not bad for someone born in 1998.

Elle Fanning got her start by riding on her sister's coattail. Her first two acting jobs were to play young versions of Dakota's characters.

Katy Perry leads 2011 MTV Video Music Awards with nine nominations

MTV said Wednesday Perry is nominated for Video of the Year and Best Female Video for "Firework," Best Pop Video for "Last Friday Night [T.G.I.F.]," and Best Collaboration, Best Art Direction, Best Direction, Best Editing and Best Special Effects for "E.T." featuring Kanye West and directed by Floria Sigismondi.
Her video for "Teenage Dream" is nominated for Best Cinematography.
